Do we use cookies?

We use 3rd party services to track web site activity that may store “cookies” on your computer when you visit our website. This allows us and/or the service to recognize your computer the next time you visit us or visit other web sites that may serve ads to you.

The type of information we collect as a result of a cookie is specific to your computer and may include the Internet Protocol (IP) address, the date and time you accessed our website and what parts of the website were visited. We collect this information to monitor the usage and usefulness of our website and for statistical purposes. You may set your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie or to refuse receiving it.

We have an efficient and compliant onboarding process that ensures proper consent is obtained from all clients before initiating text message communication. New clients typically connect with our firm through various channels, including phone calls, our website contact form, or in-person visits. During this initial contact, we collect basic case information and explain our services, including how we communicate with clients throughout the duration of their case.

For new clients who choose to retain our firm, we provide a written fee agreement that includes a section outlining our communication practices and explicitly requests their consent to receive text messages regarding their case. Only upon receiving the signed agreement do we proceed to enter their information into our secure case management system and begin text communication, if consent has been provided.

For existing clients who were onboarded prior to the implementation of this text communication policy, we reach out directly via email to confirm and document their consent to receive text messages. This ensures that all clients, both new and existing, have clearly granted permission before we communicate with them via text.

Our process prioritizes clarity, transparency, and compliance, and we remain committed to upholding confidentiality and protecting client information at all stages of the attorney-client relationship.

We will not share mobile contact information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. If you are receiving text messages from us and wish to stop receiving them, simply reply with ‘STOP’ to the number from which you received the message. Message and data rates may apply.
